What is the University of St.Gallen?
The University of St.Gallen, known as HSG, is a university in St. Gallen, Switzerland, whose stated vision is to be the leading European business university. According to the university's own HSG at a glance overview, it began in 1898 as an academy for trade, commerce and administration and today has around 10,000 students.
The same overview says more than 200 spin-offs and start-ups are certified with an HSG label. The university's HSG Entrepreneurship programmes offer resources, coaching and networking to help students and alumni turn ideas into businesses, from ideation to incubation to acceleration.
What does Kini build?
Kini is a managed connectivity layer for recruiting. It connects applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards and recruiting agencies, and operates the ATS integrations as an ongoing service: monitoring, retries, recovery and connector maintenance are included. Jobs go out of the ATS to the channels, and applications come back into the ATS with a sync status on every record. The ATS stays the system of record.
Kini has two products. Kini Core is the integration engine that connects an ATS with the systems it exchanges data with. Kini Shop is a job-board marketplace that distributes job ads to 1,500+ boards, including Indeed, StepStone, Kleinanzeigen and the Bundesagentur für Arbeit. Kini is built and operated in Germany by SmartConnect Technologies GmbH and works mainly with companies in the DACH region.
