What Kini handles for Spark Hire Recruit customers.
Spark Hire Recruit lets recruiters choose which job boards receive their positions and works with approved partners for everything that flows back. Kini takes both roles for each end customer you connect.
The positions recruiters choose to post
Spark Hire Recruit lets recruiters decide per job board whether all positions are posted automatically or only selected ones. Kini receives exactly the positions published to it, with title, HTML description, requirements, department, city, country and remote setting, and takes down those that leave the feed.
Applicants on the right position
Kini adds each applicant as a candidate on the position they chose, with first and last name, email, phone, LinkedIn profile and further links. Your own reference for the application travels along as the partner's candidate ID, so both systems can point to the same person later.
Resume and further files attached
The resume goes with the candidate as a PDF, DOC or DOCX file, and further documents are added to the candidate's files. Recruiters open everything from the candidate profile in Spark Hire Recruit instead of collecting attachments from emails or shared drives.
A duplicate check before every new candidate
Spark Hire Recruit can tell whether a person already exists in the employer's database, by email, phone number or LinkedIn profile. Kini checks this before adding a candidate, so a returning applicant does not end up as a second record next to the first one.
The actual channel as source contact
When an application comes through a service that aggregates several sources, Spark Hire Recruit accepts a source contact with name and email. Kini fills it with the channel the candidate used, so recruiters see the real origin of each applicant rather than only the connection.
Every field. Every entity.Exactly where it belongs.
Two kinds of Spark Hire Recruit records are involved: positions come in through the job board feed, candidates go back to the position they applied to. Field names follow Spark Hire Recruit's developer documentation.
Positions Feed
Candidates
Spark Hire Recruit works with approved integration partners. Each employer then activates the partner's integration in its own account, and only for employers who have done so are positions and candidates exchanged.
Operations like GET, POST, PATCH are documented per endpoint in the . The primary source for field definitions. Kini adds mapping and fallback logic on top.

End-to-end GDPR consent
Every application that flows through Kini carries a consent flag, mirrored on the target system's side and traceable in audits.
Native-language custom fields
Locations, departments and sources are mapped correctly even when they use German naming conventions or regional variants, whether your customers sit in DACH or operate internationally.
Application flows for a wide range of job boards
Stepstone, Indeed, Jobrapido and regional boards each have their own required fields, screening patterns and encoding rules. Kini's mapping engine is trained for those: out of the box, not as a custom project.
Operated by the Kini team
Kini runs the connection for you, including monitoring and alerts. If a vendor changes an API or a mapping breaks, our team fixes it before it reaches your funnel. Operated from Germany.
Frequently asked questions about the Spark Hire Recruit integration.
Which positions Kini receives from Spark Hire Recruit, how applicants are added to them, and what an employer switches on in its account.
Positions come in through the job board feed Spark Hire Recruit provides to its partners. Kini adds candidates to those positions with contact details, links, resume, further files and the channel as source contact. Kini does not create or edit positions and does not read evaluations or hiring data.
The Kini integration in the account's integration settings. Spark Hire Recruit lets each customer activate an approved partner, which issues the API key the partner works with, and recruiters choose per job board whether all positions or only selected ones are posted to Kini.
Spark Hire Recruit expects its job board partners to read the feed and update their list of positions at least every 24 hours, adding new positions, updating changed ones and removing those no longer listed. Kini follows that rhythm, so a closed position disappears from your channels within a day.
PDF, DOC and DOCX for the resume itself. Further documents go into the candidate's files, where Spark Hire Recruit accepts a wide range of formats up to the size limit set in its documentation. Accounts on the Enterprise plan can have the list of allowed file types adjusted.
No. Spark Hire Recruit stays the employer's system of record for positions, candidates and the collaborative hiring process. Kini connects the posted positions with the channels where candidates find them and adds the resulting applicants, while the hiring team keeps working in Spark Hire Recruit.
For no more than 180 days in personal form: then Kini anonymises the application and removes its contact details, files, notes and screening answers. Processing takes place in Frankfurt in the EU, with a data processing agreement available. Candidates in Spark Hire Recruit stay under the employer's control.
