What Kini takes on for Cegid HR Rec customers.
Cegid HR Rec treats Kini the way it treats a job board: recruiters publish vacancies to it, and applications come back on those vacancies. Five things Kini handles along the way for each end customer you connect.
Vacancies the recruiter chooses to publish
In Cegid HR Rec, the recruiter picks the job boards a vacancy goes to. Each time Kini is picked, Cegid creates a publication record, and Kini reads the full vacancy by its reference. Cegid only exposes published vacancies, so drafts and internal openings never reach your channels.
Applications without a detour to the career site
Candidates apply inside your channel and never need to open the employer's career site. Kini submits each application to its vacancy in Cegid HR Rec with first name, last name, email and phone number, and attaches the documents the candidate uploaded, so the recruiter receives a complete application.
GDPR information attached to each application
Cegid HR Rec asks every job board for two pieces of GDPR information per application: whether consent to process the candidate's personal data was received, and how long that data may be retained. Kini sends both, so the end customer's retention rules in Cegid take effect from the moment the application arrives.
Answer options taken from Cegid's referentials
Cegid HR Rec stores values such as diplomas in referentials, each with translations per language. Kini reads these lists, so select fields in your application form offer exactly the options the end customer's Cegid site accepts, in the candidate's language, rather than free text that a recruiter has to tidy up.
A separate connection for every Cegid site
Each Cegid HR Rec customer runs its own site, and the API is addressed through that site's URL. Kini connects every end customer's site on its own, with its own credentials, so vacancies and applications from different end customers never mix, however many of them you serve.
Every field. Every entity.Exactly where it belongs.
The connection uses three kinds of Cegid HR Rec records: vacancies and the referential lists behind application forms come in, applications go back. Where Cegid's public job board documentation names a field, the list below spells it the same way.
Vacancies
Applications
Referentials
A vacancy only becomes visible to Kini once a recruiter publishes it to Kini from Cegid HR Rec. Cegid exposes published vacancies only, so a vacancy that exists in Cegid but was never sent to Kini does not appear in your channels.
Operations like GET, POST, PATCH are documented per endpoint in the . The primary source for field definitions. Kini adds mapping and fallback logic on top.
Step 1Connect
Step 2Map
Step 3Test
Step 4Go-live!
End-to-end GDPR consent
Every application that flows through Kini carries a consent flag, mirrored on the target system's side and traceable in audits.
Native-language custom fields
Locations, departments and sources are mapped correctly even when they use German naming conventions or regional variants, whether your customers sit in DACH or operate internationally.
Application flows for a wide range of job boards
Stepstone, Indeed, Jobrapido and regional boards each have their own required fields, screening patterns and encoding rules. Kini's mapping engine is trained for those: out of the box, not as a custom project.
Operated by the Kini team
Kini runs the connection for you, including monitoring and alerts. If a vendor changes an API or a mapping breaks, our team fixes it before it reaches your funnel. Operated from Germany.
Frequently asked questions about the Cegid integration.
Which Cegid product Kini works with, how a vacancy finds its way to Kini, and what a Cegid HR Rec customer sets up before applications flow.
Cegid HR Rec, the recruiting solution Cegid previously sold as Talentsoft Recruiting. Kini connects through the Job Board API that Cegid documents for job board vendors: it reads the vacancies published to Kini and submits applications to them. Other Cegid HR modules, such as payroll or talent management, are not part of this connection.
The recruiter publishes it to Kini. Publishing to job boards is a step on the vacancy in Cegid HR Rec, and choosing Kini creates a publication record that Kini processes. Kini then reads the vacancy's details and publishes it to your channels. A vacancy that was never sent to Kini stays out of them.
A client ID and a client secret for Cegid's API, which Kini uses over OAuth 2.0 against the end customer's own Cegid site. According to Cegid's job board documentation, these credentials are issued per partner and per environment and configured by a Cegid technical consultant, so the customer's Cegid contact is the first stop.
Yes. Cegid's job board interface takes GDPR information with each application, namely whether consent to process personal data was received and how long the data may be kept. Kini fills both from the candidate's application, so the recruiter in Cegid HR Rec does not need to collect consent a second time.
Yes. Cegid's job board interface accepts documents together with the application, and Kini attaches the CV, cover letter and other files the candidate uploaded in your channel. The recruiter opens them on the application in Cegid HR Rec instead of asking the candidate to send them again.
No. Cegid HR Rec stays the end customer's system of record for vacancies, candidates and the hiring decision. Kini acts as one of the job boards a recruiter can publish to, plus the operated connection behind it, and every application it collects ends up in Cegid.
In the EU, in Frankfurt, under a data processing agreement that Kini offers. Personal data such as contact details, attachments, notes and screening answers is anonymised in Kini 180 days after an application was created, while the application itself remains in Cegid HR Rec under the end customer's retention rules.
