Introduction
If your jobs live in an ATS and your applications arrive from a dozen channels, TALENTpro is a place where much of that chain stands in the same hall. On 4 and 5 June 2025, the expo festival for recruiting, talent management and employer branding took over the Zenith in Munich.
Kini's co-founder and CEO Fabian Scheib went as a visitor, to catch up with familiar faces and meet new ones. Here is what TALENTpro 2025 was, who exhibited and what the programme said about where recruiting is heading.
TL;DR
- TALENTpro 2025 took place on 4 and 5 June 2025 at the Zenith, Lilienthalallee 29, in Munich, organised by HRM Institute GmbH & Co. KG from Mannheim.
- The organiser's event page lists 89 exhibitors, among them ATS and HR software vendors, job boards and a multiposting provider.
- Kini attended as a visitor. Fabian Scheib, co-founder, announced on LinkedIn on the morning of 4 June that he was on his way and invited contacts to a short exchange.
- The 2025 line-up ran across several stages, including the HRM.de Stage, two content stages, the Hey Jobs Stage, an HR Influencer Arena and a Public Sector Forum.
- AI and automation appeared across the programme, from AI-supported job ads to a panel on automation in recruiting.
- The organiser's recap video "Das war die TALENTpro 2025!" is on the TALENTpro YouTube channel.
What was TALENTpro 2025?
TALENTpro calls itself an expo festival: a trade fair, a stage programme and a lot of room for networking, with street food and music on the side. The 2025 edition ran on 4 and 5 June 2025, from 09:00 to 17:30 on both days, at the Zenith in Munich. The organiser is HRM Institute GmbH & Co. KG, based in Mannheim.
The audience is the employer side of recruiting. According to the 2025 facts page, the event was aimed at recruiters, heads of recruiting, talent acquisition managers, HR leaders, employer branding teams and decision-makers from public administration. The organiser reserved the right to turn away visitors from other professions.
What did Kini do at TALENTpro 2025?
Kini did not have a stand. Fabian Scheib, Kini's co-founder and CEO, went as a visitor to see familiar faces again and meet new people. On the morning of 4 June he posted on LinkedIn:
„Auf dem Weg zur TALENTpro! ☀️ Ich freue mich darauf, viele bekannte Gesichter wiederzusehen […] Wer von euch ist vor Ort und hat Lust auf einen kurzen Austausch?"
Fabian Scheib, Co-Founder of Kini, on LinkedIn
In English: "On the way to TALENTpro! I'm looking forward to seeing many familiar faces again […] Who of you is there and fancies a short exchange?" (translated from German)
It was probably not Kini's first TALENTpro. A year earlier, on 10 June 2024, the Kini company page wrote that TalentPro in Munich was the next day and that the team was looking forward to conversations about data-driven recruiting.
Who was on the exhibition floor?
The organiser's HRM.de event page lists 89 exhibitors. Read as a whole, the list looks like a map of the recruiting data chain:
| Part of the chain | Examples from the 2025 exhibitor list |
|---|---|
| ATS and HR software | Personio, softgarden, coveto ATS, HR4YOU, MHM HR, compleet, TALENTION |
| Job boards and portals | XING, stellenanzeigen.de, Talent.com, HeyJobs, jobvector, Kommunaljobs |
| Job ad distribution | Jobspreader by Wollmilchsau |
Several of these systems appear in Kini's integrations directory, for example softgarden and Personio. That is the point of an event like this for us. Jobs leave the ATS, go out to boards and portals, and applications have to find their way back. Each of those steps is a connection that someone has to build and then keep running. We explain that operating model in Managed Recruiting Connectivity, explained.
Which topics shaped the programme?
Of the sessions with a topic tag in the organiser's archived 2025 line-up, most are tagged recruiting or employer branding, with fewer on talent management, recruiting technology and candidate experience. Sessions ran on the HRM.de Stage, Content Stage 1 and 2, the Hey Jobs Stage, the Jobspreader Stage, the HR Influencer Arena, the Public Sector Forum, the Podcast Lounge and a meet-up area. AI came up in several sessions. Three examples from the 2025 line-up:
- Tom Wiegand, CTO of jobvector, spoke about smart job ads with AI and targeted matching.
- A panel on the HRM.de Stage discussed automation in the recruiting process.
- Robindro Ullah of the trendence Institut presented a study run together with TALENTpro on AI competence in German HR.
Our observation: the more AI tools sit in the recruiting process, the more systems exchange jobs and candidate data. That makes stable connections between them more important, not less.
Where can you see what TALENTpro 2025 looked like?
The organiser published two recap videos on the TALENTpro YouTube channel: "Das war die TALENTpro 2025!" and "Unsere Aussteller über die TALENTpro 2025!", in which exhibitors talk about the event. The current event site is talentpro.de.
Where can you meet Kini next?
TALENTpro 2027 is set for 9 and 10 June 2027 at the MTC world of fashion in Munich, according to the organiser. Sooner than that, Kini exhibits at STAFFINGpro Expo 2026 on 21 October 2026 at the RheinMain CongressCenter in Wiesbaden, stand C.08-C. STAFFINGpro is run by the same organiser as TALENTpro and focuses on the staffing industry.
